Insul-8 Radio Remote Controls
Insul-8 is proud to offer a complete line of
inexpensive and feature rich radios for your mobile control needs.
These radio remote controls combine a full complement of safety
features at an outstanding value. We offer radios geared towards the
light and medium duty crane market (CMAA A-D) and line of low cost
general-purpose radio controls with many of the same basic
capabilities and safety features. Insul-8 radio remote controls
allow the user to move out of harms way by selecting the safest and
most convenient operating position, thus greatly reducing the risk
of injury.

Insul-8 C, D, and J Series
radio remote controls are all designed with the crane market
in mind. The Protean is general purpose radio remote control
for industrial use. These units feature advanced SMT
technology and advanced digital technology for small compact
and reliable designs.
- C - The C Series
radio is an 8-button radio offered in single or two speed
configurations.
- D - The D Series
radio is a 12-button radio offered in single or two speed
configurations that also include an A/B/Both selector.
- J - The J Series
features a 5-Speed dual joystick configuration with dual
A/B/Both/Off selectors.
- Protean -
remotely control many different applications including but
not limited to lift tables, transfer cars, chain hoists,
single and two motion cranes, boat ramps, rack and pinion
hoists, conveyor systems, tail gate lifts, door openers,
lighting control.
Safety
Insul-8 C, D, J and Protean Series radio remote controls
wireless technology incorporates the latest advancements in RF
and microprocessor design. Such features as watchdog error
circuitry, output relay monitoring, FDDI (frequency deviation
deflection indicator), and programmable password protection
all insure safe wireless operation of your equipment. Most of
all, the wireless technology removes the operator from harm’s
way. The operator can choose
the safest and most convenient operating position, thus
greatly reducing the risk of injury.
Reliability
Extensive use of SMT technology and advanced digital
technology reduces the part count and simplifies design.
Single board transmitter and receiver designs reduce
interconnections and enhance reliability. All circuitry is
shock proof mounted within a rigid glass filled nylon
enclosure for long service life. This commitment of

Protean is a compact hand-held 4, 6 and 8
button radio controls that, as their name Protean implies,
are suited to a variety of remote control applications. The
Protean radio controls are an ideal solution for (but not
limited to) Lift Tables, Transfer Cars, Chain Hoists, Boat
Ramps, Conveyor Systems, and Tailgate Lifts.
